Artsy Motorcycle Video Tempts Us to Ecuador

The thought of riding a motorcycle across some exotic foreign land has crossed every bikers mind.

Whether entertained by a rider who’s visited the same motorcycle rally one too many times or just an itch to knock it off the bucket list, there are too many two-wheeled destinations to ignore.

Ecuador Freedom Bike Rental and Motorcycle Tours came to the attention of Clutch and Chrome when we ran a story on their participation in the “Pack for a Purpose,” a community-based project which is supported by tour operators, hotels and resorts in 56 countries around the world.

In fact, they were the first motorcycle tour operator in the world to become a member of this clever idea for a much needed program.

Located in the historic capital city of Quito, Ecuador Freedom Bike Rental is the country’s first motorcycle tour operator. Working with local, professional guides they design and outfit tours for adventure enthusiasts who wish to explore Ecuador on two wheels. They operate the Adventure Motorcycle Travel Center in Quito and are open 7 days a week and provide full-service rentals of mountain bikes, motor scooters, and motorcycles at reasonable daily and weekly rates.

“As a company we are committed to finding ways to support the local communities that make our motorcycle tours so special,” stated Court Rand, co-owner of the Quito-based motorcycle tour operator. "I am thrilled that we are now working with Pack for a Purpose to support our goals of positively giving back to the community."

We featured a more commercial type video here, but this pick is far more artsy and certainly grabs the imagination.
