Twilight star brings motorcycle passion to latest movie

The Brad Pitts and George Clooneys need to make room for the latest teen sensation, Taylor Lautner who is bringing an apparent passion for motorcycles to his latest role.

First seen in the hit series of movies based around the popular ‘Twilight’ story, Lautner has made the pages of gossip an entertainment websites from the saddle of an Aprilia motorcycle while shooting his latest film.

Being shot in Pittsburgh, Lautner was seen riding an Aprilia motorcycle and performing his own stunts for the movie, ‘Abduction’, a thriller centered on a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website.

Directed by John Singleton, "Abduction" boasts a cast including Elisabeth Rohm, Maria Bello, Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, and Jason Issacs. Production has just started on the movie and if reports of  Lautner currently being the highest paid teenage actor are true, he can pretty much buy any motorcycle that takes his fancy.

The teen heart throb was seen in one of the early Twilight movies rebuilding and later riding a dual purpose motorcycle, leaving many to believe the 18 year old actor has been bitten by the riding bug. Taylor only reportedly learned to ride in March 2009 for the Twilight movies but since then has been seen taking in some two-wheeled time on a Los Angeles beach.

He even found time to race late night television host Jimmy Fallon.

"I love action, but most important is the story. And the story behind this action thriller ['Abduction'] is amazing,” Lautner has said about his most recent movie project, “We got [director] John Singleton behind us. ... I'm so thankful we're getting a cast like that."
