Tron motorcycle helmet recalls first movie
Having a brand new product styled with a retro feel is nothing new to the motorcycle world and looking like your favorite movie character is appealing to more and more riders.
For that demographic of riders, the latest product from an upscale French boutique, Les Ateliers, might be the final finishing piece for the motorcycle apparel.
Taking a design cue from the original Tron movie, the Tron 1.0 motorcycle helmet will be available in January when the sequel of the famous science fiction movie, Tron Legacy rides into Europe.

But the credit card will have to be paid down from the holiday shopping, Les Atelier Ruby's designer helmets run between $1,200 and $1,800.
While the styles may be a mix and match of timelines and fashion, for riders who have to absolutely look their movie-going best, the Tron motorcycle apparel made by UD Replicas appears to still be in stock.
The riding gear comes in two flavors, ‘Sam Flynn’, based on the Tron: Legacy’s main character played by Garrett Hedlund and ‘Quorra’ taken from the suit worn by Olivia Wilde.

The suits are made up of jacket, pants, gloves and boots which can be bought individually or as a package. They feature;
CE Approved Body Armor
Form Molded Leather Detailing
Light Sensitive Reflective Accents
Heavy Duty Stretch Spandex Inserts
Silicone Hexagon Print
Form Molded Leather Disk
Reportedly, the materials used in the Tron riding apparel are the same as those used by the costume designers for the movie itself, TRON: Legacy.
And that ride into fantasy is not for the fiscally lighthearted, the male version costs $995 and the complete female suit is $899.
