Tron Legacy motorcycle suits hit the cyber shelves

While still months away from its December debut, Disneys latest ride back into the world of Tron has a long-awaited treat for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Following in the tire tracks of the latest comic book heroes to make it onto the big screen, UD Replicas have brought their attention to detail and quality to riding apparel inspired by the sequel to the 1982 cinema classic.

The Tron motorcycle apparel, which debuted in July at San Diego’s Comic Convention comes in two flavors, ‘Sam Flynn’, based on the Tron: Legacy’s main character played by Garrett Hedlund and ‘Quorra’ taken from the suit worn by Olivia Wilde. This appears to be the first time UD Replicas have offered a ‘his and hers’ in their quality, novelty riding apparel.

Latest Science Fiction meets motorcycle riding apparel

The suits are made up of jacket, pants, gloves and boots which can be bought individually or as a package.  They feature;

CE Approved Body Armor

Form Molded Leather Detailing

Light Sensitive Reflective Accents

Heavy Duty Stretch Spandex Inserts

Silicone Hexagon Print

Form Molded Leather Disk

Reportedly, the materials used in the Tron riding apparel are the same as those used by the costume designers for the movie itself, TRON: Legacy.

For those wanting to take their riding from the big screen to the local highway the window of opportunity may speed by faster than the latest special effects. There are only 1,000 ‘Sam Flynn’ suits being made and 500 of the ‘Quorra’.

And that ride into fantasy is not for the fiscally lighthearted, the male version costs $995 and the complete female suit is $899. But for those that take that motorcycle journey of riding with the Tron: Legacy riding apparel, UD Replicas are hoping they will post the newly purchased attire on the company’s Facebook Page.
