While there were many riders who took advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend to catch some wind, none surely as famous as the star-studded pair in Malibu.

Hollywood hunk George Clooney and his now familiar girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis were seen on his Harley-Davidson as they prepared for a Malibu ride.

Coincidentally, the last time the famous couple were photographed out on a motorcycle was in Los Angeles in September 2009.

Clooney's favorite passenger may be known in this country for having caught the eye of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, but Elisabetta is already a popular pin-up in her native Italy and has appeared in two American movies, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo and Virgin Territory. It was in Italy the pair were first seen enjoying time together in the saddle last Summer, when Clooney took Canalis through the back roads around his European hideaway in Lake Como after they met in Rome some months earlier.

Both appeared to be dressed for the part with all the recommended safety gear such as helmets, riding gloves and boots as well as jackets to keep out the California morning chill. If only they had remembered to apply the anti-paparazzi repellent.

So far Clooney and Canalis have enjoyed open roads and a blossoming romance, with the occasional paparazzi in tow.
