Even as bikers ride through tough economic times motorcycle manufacturers continue to take its new models and the marketing of same, into high gear.

We can now count Honda as the latest motorcycle manufacturer to up the ante for suspense and promises.

Admittedly the efforts from manufacturers are purely to kick start the motorcycle sales that have lurched along in first gear for too long, but the end result brings excitement from the guerilla marketing and publicity stunts to get published by the press.

After a stunning motorcycle show in Milan with the EICMA where manufacturers consistently tried to out-do each other, Honda is promising to reveal three new models at the show set to open in England at the end of November.

Called Carole Nash Motorcycle Live, the event is making two-wheeled headlines with Honda scheduling the debut of its new-for-2011 models, three world exclusive announcements, as well as star rider and celebrity appearances.

As if to keep the motorcycle excitement felt in Milan spilling into the cold British streets, Honda is offering the new 2011 Hornet as a door prize.

Taking the impressive V4 162 HP engine that dominated the 2010 World Superbike Championship and encasing it in an aluminum dual beam chassis, the new Aprilia reportedly boasts power never before installed on a naked.

The toast of Milan, Ducati’s Diavel will be at the show with would be buyers able to consider the model that will be available from January 2011 in two flavors; the Diavel and the flagship Diavel Carbon.
