Country star brings celebrity motorcycle ride to Atlanta


Country singer and motorcycle enthusiast Dierks Bentley is continuing his successful fundraising tour as ‘Miles & Music for Kids’ rides into Atlanta Georgia this weekend.

940With over $1.2 million raised so far Atlanta is the latest stop on the nationwide "Miles & Music for Kids" celebrity motorcycle ride and concert series. Kicking off on Sunday the event, presented by Nationwide Insurance, will raise proceeds for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The ‘Miles & Music for Kids’ originated in Nashville but also took place in Fort Worth Texas last month before riding into Georgia this weekend.

Hopping on into the saddle for this celebrity ride will be Drivin’ N Cryin’, Josh Thompson, Cody Canada of Cross Canadian Ragweed, Chris Janson, T.J. Edmond & The Beggars’ Guild, Shotgun Lover and even more expected on the day.

The famous country singer, his black 2003 Harley-Davidson Softail Standard and friends will leave Killer Creek Harley-Davidson and ride to the picturesque Lake Lanier Islands Resort where there will be a special concert on the lake.

“Anyone can participate in that ride or just come down and watch the show,” Bentley told reporters, “It’s going to be beautiful outside by the water. Come out and bring your family, enjoy some great music and know the money is going back into your community.”
