Angelina Jolie roars into the motorcycle lifestyle
Ravishing Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has managed to capture the attention of the motorcycle world again, this time with the news she is officially one of our own.
The woman who has been repeatedly voted sexiest woman by a variety of magazines was given a MV Agusta motorcycle by her partner in life and love, Brad Pitt. So while it may seem that Harley-Davidson are itching to dump the iconic Italian brand, a celebrity who takes his riding very seriously chose MV Agusta to get Jolie a ride of her own.
“I'm not sure what cc it is,' she told the British newspaper Mail on Sunday, 'But I can tell you it's a proper bike and it's powerful. I used to have a bike years ago, but I hadn't owned one for a long time.”
Although no stranger to motorcycles, Jolie only talks about motorcycles when either worrying about biker Brad out on the mean streets of Los Angeles or actually buying her beau another set of wheels for the (so it would seem) full garage.
Angelina is mostly seen on motorcycles in her movie roles, with the latest being her appearance in ‘Salt’. The woman adored for her captivating looks as much as her acting abilities plays Evelyn A. Salt, a rogue CIA agent who tries to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper spy. The movie expands her on-screen rides, adding what appears to be a Triumph Street Triple in the latest movie to the list of Yamaha TRX80 and a CCM 604, both were featured in Tomb Raider films.
And in real life, the sexy actress used a motorcycle date to apparently woo Brad when she was caught on camera out and about with her own BMW bike earlier in their relationship.
This isn’t the first time motorcycles, movies and Brad have come up in recent conversations.
“He was almost going to be the motorcycle guy that I knocked down, and then he'd call me a bad name," Jolie said several weeks ago when talking about her latest movie ‘Salt’, "But he was with the kids that day, and we couldn't work it out."
With all of her riding experience, both on and off the screen, Jolie feels she still needs to learn how to actually ride, looking to Brad for the lessons.
“Brad's a really good teacher - he's really patient,” Angelina said in her interview with the Mail on Sunday, “I'm very impatient so I can wreck a bike if I'm not careful.”
While this may fly in the face of every shred of official motorcycle advice, many couples are surely hearing warning bells when it comes to one partner teaching another any type of difficult skill.
And obviously, the international sex symbol (and devoted mother) is ready to learn.
“Sometimes we'll go on the track together and there you can go really fast and let your hair down,” she mentioned in the interview with the British paper.
