Daddy issues and motorcycle fugitives for Sons of Anarchy
Week old stubble and dirty leather have gone Hollywood as the motorcycle drama ‘Sons of Anarchy’ starts filming for its third season.
Recently it was announced Paula Malcolmson from 'Caprica' will be joining the cast for eight episodes. Now a star from the stage and screen will be getting down and dirty with the gang from Charming California as Hal Holbrook takes on the role of Nate Madock, the father of Gemma Morrow Teller (Katey Sagal). The Emmy winning actor will appear in a four-episode arc, beginning with the premiere episode debuting in September.
In the season finale of Sons of Anarchy Katey Sagal’s character went on the run to save the club and herself, leaving the likely chance more of her past will be revealed through the scenes with on-screen father and daughter.

The filming of the third season reportedly began late last week with many of the characters dealing with how the FX drama ended the highly successful season number two. Speaking of which, star-crossed lovers Jax and Tara are facing their own questions and series creator has hinted for what fans can expect from just one storyline.
"They're both struggling with who they are as a couple," Sutter has said, "It's made them both take a step back. It was a reality check, and it will impact everything they do throughout the season."
The second season of the drama that also stars Ron Perlman and Charlie Hunnam ranked as the highest-rated single season of an original series in FX history: It averaged 4.48 million viewers and 3.16 million adults between the ages of 18 and 49.
