Harley-Davidson Digital Gear Indicator
The motto always has been simple and sturdy for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, but the latest accessory brings the brand best associated with riding more mainstream.
The latest Harley-Davidson accessory takes the standard instrument panel from basic to well-informed with a new Digital Gear Indicator.
This chrome-plated (of course) or black satin accessory (P/N 70900038 Chrome, P/N 70900078 Black; $219.95) from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories eliminates gear-selection guesswork. Conveniently located on the handlebar for line-of-site viewing, the bright LED display is easy-to-read with a quick glance.
When the clutch is out, the display indicates the current gear, or a large āNā when the transmission is in the neutral position. A built-in photocell automatically adjusts the display for improved visibility in direct sunlight, and dims the display at night to reduce distraction.
Best of all, Plug-and-play installation requires no wire splicing or complicated programming.

Available in chrome or satin black finish, the complete kit includes a self-contained LED and control module, control housing, wiring harness and required mounting hardware.
Fits many 2007-later VRSC, Sportster, Dyna, and Touring models, and 2007-10 Softail models. But riders need to check out their motorcycle and handlebars as it may not fit with some other accessories.
