Ducati Riders Cruise to the Front With Style

While their motorcycles may offer the finest of Italian engineering and design, Ducati’s latest apparel is an American affair.

Ducati is looking to the US based New Era to produce an exclusive cap collection.

Around since 1920, New Era has become a globally revered American brand. The company behind ultra-cool “cult” models such as the True Fitted 59FIFTY, the world-famous 6-panel cap with the flat visor, New Era’s corporate focus is to turn sports caps into fashion icons. New Era is the official cap maker for MLB (Major League Baseball), the NBA (National Basketball Association) and the NFL (National Football League).

Now this brand is taking to two wheels with its ‘New Era X Ducati’ collection, consisting of four lines that interpret the values embodied by the Ducati, Ducati Corse, Ducati Historical and Ducati Scrambler logos, featuring different styles, colours, materials and finishes.

Of course, the collection just had to include the celebrated 59FIFTY and 9FORTY Adjustable models.

"New Era is an extraordinarily successful brand. Its unique style has won global acclaim and gained a huge following among the young", comments Alessandro Cicognani, Ducati Motor Holding Licensing Director. “This agreement is not only a source of pride: it also puts Ducati in the exclusive club of franchises and US sports leagues that wear New Era caps.”

New Era X Ducati caps will be available starting from mid-April 2017, in Ducati Stores, New Era stores and at the Ducati.com and Neweracap.com websites.

“We're very excited about our new partnership with Ducati,” said Paul Gils, VP EMEA of New Era. “Producing quality caps for a globally recognized Italian brand with such a reputation for performance is a huge opportunity for us”.
