One Percenter
Also referred to as 1%er. In response to a controversial
motorcycle rally the
AMA stated that 99% of motorcyclists are law
abiding people and only 1% are causing trouble. Those
riders who felt they were in that 1% assumed the name
One Percenters and started wearing patches denoting
themselves as One Percenters.
OPG
Stands for 'Oil Pump Drive Gear'
Orphan Bikes
Motorcycles that are considered rare and no longer in
production.
Organ Donor
A rider biker who never wears a helmet.
Originals
A member's first set of club patches (colors) which
supposedly should never to be cleaned.
OTB
To be thrown 'Over The Bars' of a motorcycle. Also see
nipple surfing.
Otto
Cycle
Occasionally four-stroke engine are called this, honoring
it's inventor Otto Benz.
Over
Boar
To increase the size of the cylinders by drilling usually
done to increase engine capacity.
Overhead-Cam System
An engine system where the cam rides above the cylinder
head.
