How does a nominee for a Golden Globe award blow off
steam just days before the ceremony will be broadcast around
the world?
If you're
Brad Pitt and a motorcycle
enthusiast, the sure cure is taking out a custom bike for a
quick ride around the neighborhood. While most of us use this
type of therapy in an ambiguous way the 'worlds sexiest
man' many times over never seems to be far enough away from
a prying video camera.
The celebrity biker has been nominated for his role of
leading actor in
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,
with the film also being nominated for best picture. Pitt
had an opportunity to enjoy his passion for two wheels in
the movie, appearing on classic Indian and Triumph
motorcycles, once with co-star
Cate Blanchett riding on
the back.
Pitt's favored motorcycle
while in Europe tends to be a Ducati and as seen below, its
a custom chopper for his time in the United States. Showing
the heart of a true biker, Pitt is the founder of
Make It Right Foundation New Orleans
Louisiana, an organization dedicated to
rebuilding the city following the damage caused by Hurricane
Katrina.
In the recent pictures of Brad trying to enjoy a quiet
ride on the streets of Los Angeles, a photographer can be
seen snapping photographs from the passenger seat of the
Suburban as Pitts sits at a light.
The
Golden Globes will be
televised on on NBC at 8pm Eastern and as much of an avid
biker as Brad Pitt is, a limousine is most likely in order
for attending the event.
