Ducati Demo truck brings performance motorcycles to scenic highway

Californian
fans of beautiful, scenic rides and Ducati motorcycles have
a double treat this weekend.
This weekend,
Ducati North America Hypermotard Demo
Truck will set up at
Newcomb's Ranch Restaurant & Bar,
the only restaurant on the legendary Angeles Crest Highway
and a gateway to some of the best motorcycling roads in the
world.
From 9am-5pm each day, Ducati will transform the
heart of Angeles National Forest into a Ducati haven
offering you the chance to get in the saddle of the Ducati Hypermotard.
The
Angeles Crest Highway is a
two-lane segment of State Route 2, 66 miles in length, with
its western terminus at the intersection at Foothill
Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge and its eastern terminus
at State Route 138 northeast of Wrightwood. The majority of
the route passes through the mountainous terrain located
north of the Los Angeles basin with segments of the road
reaching altitudes above 7,000 feet and a summit of 7,903
feet at the Dawson Saddle, making it one of the highest
roads in Southern California.
Because the route passes through the protected Angeles
National Forest, development is very limited (click

campgrounds, and visitor centers.
Ducati will bring 15
Hypermotards for the demo days in all styles of dress from
the standard to the S loaded with Ducati Performance parts
and accessories will be available to demo on a first come,
first served basis. As with any appearance by the Ducati
North America Hypermotard Demo Truck, riders should get
there early as rides fill up quickly.
The Pike's Peak class-winning Hypermotards and the Spyder
Grips team will also be on hand!
