Bookings being taken for 2009 TT motorcycle series

If all the news
coming out of the legendary Isle of Man motorcycle racing
series has you wondering about watching it first hand, the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has launched online advance
bookings for TT 2009 this week.
By visiting Steam Packet's
website passengers can now
get information and book tickets for sailings from 27 May to
17 June, in time for the start of Practice Week on 30 May
2009.
Customers can book their tickets by paying a non-refundable
deposit of £20 for any vehicle type or £10 for foot
passenger travel. Sailing times and total fare will be
confirmed to each passenger by 31 January, with the final
balance due by 28 February.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is providing this
pre-booking facility in order to cater for the huge demand
over the TT period.
Chief
Executive, Mark Woodward said: “We understand that many
people, while currently enjoying this year’s TT festival,
are already looking toward their trip next year. This
advance booking system ensures that the high demand is met
and that our customers can make other arrangements safe in
the knowledge that their seats are booked for the 2009
festivities”. |
