Two riders die at Myrtle Beach motorcycle rally
The Staff of Clutch and Chrome
May 12th 2008

At the first of two motorcycle events during May in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, two riders have died and at least three others injured in separate motorcycle crashes.

Myrtle Beach's 10-day rally typically draws about 200,000 people to the 60-mile stretch of beaches from Georgetown to the North Carolina state line.

Morning showers kicked off the rally, however vendors feel the economy may be affecting the lower attendance. Others note that attendance picks up after the first few days of the rally.
