Members of a
motorcycle stunt team in Florida allegedly had connections
to a 'chop shop' using parts of stolen bikes on their own
rides.
According to
Clay County officials, stolen motorcycles were used for
parts on bikes ridden by
Stunt 904 team members. As
many as 20 motorcycles were stolen and parts that were not
used were sold online.
The stunt
teams website lists six members, but only three have been
charged with grand theft;
Curtis Gill, 27,
Ross Jackson, 25
and
Dustin Richards, 24, all o f the 1200 block of Dumpling
Court, Green Cove Springs. They are being held with bail set
at $50,000 dollars apiece.
It has been
an interesting year for one
arrested stunt team member. Ross 'Lunchbox' Jackson recently came
back to the team from a riding accident and celebrated his
birthday in March.
The Stunt
team visited Jamaica appearing in an organized event. |
