A documentary
following the lives of motorcycle racers and racing
enthusiasts made in 1971 is inviting fans to a reunion and
showing at a movie theater in California.
The
documentary asked the question "Why do they do it?" and
focuses on the riders who devote (and sometimes risk) their
lives to racing on tracks and off-road courses around the
world. Following such motorcycle legends as Steve McQueen,
the film is considered a classic by many.
The Orange
County Dualies have organized a 2008 Reunion of the classic
motorcycle motion picture On Any Sunday at the Edwards Big
Newport 6 Theaters in Newport Beach, California
After the success of the 2005 reunion in which almost
$50,000 was raised for the Pediatric Brain Tumor
Foundation's Ride for Kids, the Dualies again hope to raise
a substantial amount of money for this great cause.
Both Malcolm Smith and Bruce Brown are planning to be at the
reunion. A VIP receipt prior to the autograph signings is
planned, and a vintage bike expo with many bikes from the On
Any Sunday era will be there.
