Chesney scheduled for Glencoe's Rock'n The Rally

Travelling from
around the country bikers will head to the grandfather of
motorcycle rally's, Sturgis between August 4 - 10.
Many of
those bikers will stay at Glencoe
Nation, who offers riders facilities for camping and RV
sites with a full-service convenience store and shopping
available on its 900 acres in the heart of Sturgis.
This
year visitors will also be able to enjoy a series of music
shows labeled as “Rock’n The Rally”. This year “Rock’N The
Rally” will culminate with a performance on Aug. 6th by one
of the biggest touring country acts in the world, Kenny
Chesney.
Kenny Chesney's list of accolades and accomplishments is
long and distinguished. Chesney has sold more than 25
millions albums and produced more than thirty Top Ten
singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts,
thirteen of which reached Number One. Additionally, Chesney
has received six "Entertainer of the Year" awards from the
Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music,
and multiple American Music and Country Music Television
awards. Chesney is considered one of the most popular
touring acts in country music and his 2007 Flip-Flop Summer
Tour was the highest-grossing country road trip of 2007. He
has sold more than one million concert tickets every year
for the last six years. Chesney's Poets and Pirates Tour,
sponsored by Corona Extra, is currently the only country
tour to play NFL stadiums.
Founded in 1983 by Gary Lippold, the family-owned and
operated Glencoe Nation was established to accommodate the
hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts who descend
on Sturgis, South Dakota every August for Bike Week.
Occupying 900 acres of land, Glencoe provides tent camping,
RV sites, a full- service convenience store, shopping and
world-class entertainment all right in the heart of Bike
Week action. To provide unparalleled entertainment for the
region, in 2006 Lippold built the Glencoe Amphitheater,
which hosts Bike Week's annual Rock'N The Rally. With a
110,000-person capacity, Glencoe Amphitheater is the largest
