It was a
motorcycle race of battles both on and off the track at the
China MotoGP on Sunday.
Jorge
Lorenzo who suffered injuries to his upper-body and arms
from a crash during practice fought to make it onto the
track for the race. Once the race had started Valentino
Rossi and Dani Pedrosa battled for victory on the track.
With a
faultless performance, Rossi pulled away in the last few
laps to win the China MotoGP, taking his first personal
victory in eight races. Pedrosa rode into second, reigning
world champion Casey Stoner third and injured Lorenzo
brought in an amazing fourth place.
Pedrosa's second place gave him the outright lead in the
championship, seven points ahead of fellow countryman
Lorenzo.
