Ducati plans nationwide premier for new motorcycle

The Italian motorcycle manufacturer will roll out their latest model in a nationwide premier at dealerships across the United States.

Building on the extraordinary pedigree of the Monster lineup, Ducati feels their new 696 represents the next generation naked as well as a a statement of individuality. Ducati is hosting a National Premiere on May 16-17 for interested riders at select dealerships nation wide.

The powerful Ducati L-Twin engine of the new 696 is an evolution of the previous 695 version. Measuring 696cc, it boasts a series of updates and refinements. Power output gets a 9% boost to 80hp (59kW) and an 11% increase in torque to 50.6lb-ft.

Maintaining its traditional Monster silhouette, the 696 now looks more muscular than ever. Its wide tank tapers to the thin waistline of a comfortable narrow seat ensuring sure-footed confidence.
