Motorcycle mounts sidewalks in Scotland, injures bystanders

A shocking story of a motorcycle mounting a sidewalk in Aberdeen Scotland has one 17 year old under arrest and Police looking for witnesses.

Hundreds of people were gathered to watch an event in Aberdeen where students get dressed up and take to the city's streets every year and raise money for charity. The parade draws large crowds from all over the North East of Scotland.

Police say more than one person was riding on the motorcycle when it appeared to lose control when it rode onto the sidewalk and hit pedestrians.

It was estimated that nine people were injured ranging in age from 11 to 40 years old.

Police are appealing to the public for any information on the incident.
