Washington State motorcycle safety campaign kicks off in April

Next month, Washington State's
Department of Licensing takes it's motorcycle safety
campaign to the airwaves with television advertisements.
Endorse your sport is a
multimedia website hosted by Washington's DOL covering
different aspects of it's safety campaign from offering the
study commissioned by the department in 2006 to a video
showing how both drivers as well as riders play a part in
reducing motorcycle fatalities.
Washington State has put money
where its legislative mouth is by offering subsidized safety
courses for residents. Official numbers have 17,000 riders
taking the safety course in 2006.
All of the collective efforts
seem to be paying off with a reduction of fatal motorcycle
accidents in 2007 than there were the year before. |
