Motorcycle riding American Idol
even rocks Simon

Like all good things worth
waiting for, the motorcycle riding, rock and roll loving
American Idol had her moment on stage last night.
Amanda Overmeyer sang,
'Please Don't Go' a famous blues song recorded by rock and
blues greats such as Muddy Waters, Van Morrison, The Doors
and Aerosmith.
Amanda impressed all
three judges, even Simon who confessed, "I think you're a
very good singer," and he hopes she stays around for a very
long time.
Randy called her a "Bluesy
rocker chick."
Exhibiting the truest
definition of a biker, Paula said Amanda gave off the
feeling that "It doesn't matter what people say."
She was a refreshing moment
in a sea of nerves and lackluster songs from seemingly
previous talented singers who couldn't quite find their
stage feet. Other singers who came after Amanda continued
the high standard of not only great singing but also
electric performances.
As with last years American
Idol, most of the talent seems to be among the women and the
decision will be tough on voters to decide the best.
But even if Clutch and Chrome
hadn't taken it upon ourselves to give Amanda the official
endorsement and support of the absolutely free online
resource for riders everywhere, we would still call all our
friends to have them vote for this lover of both rock and
motorcycles.
