Florida's motorcycle rally grows

With only two weeks to go
the
motorcycle event of the
southeast is unveiling a full calendar of event for
attendees to Daytona Bike Week.
The 67th Daytona Bike Week
kicks off Feb. 29 with opening day practice, qualifications
and competition at Daytona Beach International Speedway.
Officials
have revealed this years logo, and a trip can be taken down
history lane with all the past logo's in their
technicolor glory.
Harley-Davidson has filled
a diverse
calendar of events ranging
from the all women ride with over 500 riders, as well
celebrating its fifth year of supporting “Black Bikers in
the Park” at Daisy Stocking Park.
Bikers have the opportunity to have breakfast with icon
custom bike builders Arlen Ness and Russell Mitchell, don't
miss the 20th Annual Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum's "Friendraising"
breakfast on Friday, March 7.
The 36th Annual Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show has expanded to
a 3-day event, wrapped around the First Annual Big Daddy
Rat's Party that will include an All-Metrics Custom Bike
Show on Thursday; Old School Bobbers with a rock-a-billy
band on Friday; and the main event with entertainment on
Saturday.
Crowds will continue to take the short trip north to
Destination Daytona, a 150-acre complex that is home to the
world's largest Harley-Davidson dealership near
Interstate-95 in Ormond Beach, if not to visit new bars have
opened near Destination Daytona, including a second location
of Daytona Beach's infamous Boot Hill Saloon. |
