Submit your Motorcycle Club  -  What is the Motorcycle Club Database?  -  How to complete the submission

Instructions for completing the
Motorcycle Club Database
Submission Form

The submission form collects information that'll be used by prospective members to search through the thousands of clubs included in Clutch and Chrome's Motorcycle Club database. This is your opportunity to ensure anyone interested in your club has the best idea about who you are, the clubs size and how active it is. The information will only be used by Clutch and Chrome reader's searching for a motorcycle club. The information won't be otherwise released or sold.

Although it's only a short form, we'd recommend you take your time and make sure every question is completed accurately.

  1. Name of Motorcycle Club.
    Straightforward question.

  2. Approximate number of total members.
    Include all you current members.

  3. Approximate number of active members.
How many regularly turn up for rides and events.

  4. How often are club meetings?
Something every prospective member should know. Pick the most common and closest choice from; More than once a week, Once a week, Twice a month, Once a month, Whenever we darn well feel like it.

  5. How often does the club ride or have events?
Probably the first and foremost thought on any new members mind! Pick the most common and closest choice from; More than once a week, Once a week, Twice a month, Once a month, Whenever we darn well feel like it.

  6. Club dues/membership?
    Straightforward question.

  7. Is your club motorcycle specific?
Very important question. The choices start with bike types such as Classic, Cruiser, Sportbike and then lists each manufacturer available in the US. Make sure you pick the one answer most appropriate for your club.

  8. Is your club lifestyle, gender, belief specific?
Another important question. The choices are pretty self-explanatory except maybe for 'clean and sober'. This category was included for those clubs that are made up of riders who've recovered (or recovering) from dependency problems from alcohol and drugs.

  9. Which city is your club mostly based out of?
Fairly obvious. Please type the city's name out in full, no abbreviations.

  10. Which state?
This should be an easy one.

  11. What part of the state would you consider your club in?
Our database divides each State into four further regions. For example, Dallas would be in the Northeast part of Texas and Miami is in the Southeast of Florida.

The only states that are too small to apply this to are Connecticut, DC, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia. If your club is in one of these twelve States, chose 'none'.

  12. Who can interested members contact?
A club title such a membership officer or president can be entered. If you'd like to put your riding handle, nickname, first name or full name, it doesn't matter. No obscenities or offensive names will be allowed and if one is entered the submission will either be changed or disregarded all together.

  13. What's their email address (or clubs email address)?
An active and working email address used by the person given in question 12. This information will only be used by Clutch and Chrome user's searching for a motorcycle club. The information won't be otherwise released or sold. Every effort will be made to ensure that data and email 'mining' programs can't harvest your information when it appears on the Clutch and Chrome website.

  14. If your club has a website and would like it available, enter the full url (web address).
Make sure the entire address is typed in, including the 'http:' at the very beginning. The easiest way to do this would be to bring the page up in your internet browser and copy it from your web browsers toolbar displaying the address.

If you don't have a club page, you might want to check out our free motorcycle club webpage.

Read and understand the acknowledgment at the end of the submission form.

We'll send an email to the contact information provided to let you know when your motorcycle club has been included in the Clutch and Chrome Database. The email will also include instructions on how to add the reciprocal link to your motorcycle club's webpage.
